1. Full fleet list with vehicle makes types and quantities?
2. Any fleet replacement programmes planned for the next five years, with details of the manufacturer that will be used if already agreed.
3. Total number of vehicles with CCTV camera systems installed?
4. Who is the CCTV system provider
5. Total Number of vehicles with vehicle tracking / telematics installed?
6. Who is the Telematics system provider?
7. Contract budgets, length of contract, expiry date and annual spend, for telematics and camera systems?
8. Details of all safety-related incidents in the last five years?
9. Do you currently operate waste services (collections) directly, or through a waste/recycling/street cleansing contractor such as Biffa, Suez or Veolia. If through a contractor, please name them (if relevant)?

Operational Services is currently undergoing a full fleet replacement program.
Over the next three years our entire fleet will be replaced at yearly intervals.
• Refuse and recycling, 26t RCV’s Both single and twin pack configuration • 7.5t Chassis cabs for food waste collection. containers to be retrofitted • 3.5t panel vans (Electric)
• 3.5t flatbed trucks (Electric)
• 3.5t cage tippers (Electric)
• Estate configuration pool cars (Electric)
• Footway sweepers - Schmidt, Johnstone
• Professional ride on mowers - Ransomes, Shibaura etc
• Mowing gang unit, Major
• Side arm flail unit, Mconnell etc
• Quad bike
• Chipping unit
• Micro/Midi digger with long reach dipping arm
• Bowling green mowers
• Zero turn mowers, Hustler
Total number of vehicles with CCTV camera systems installed is 9 vehicles.
Intelligent Vehicle Monitoring Sytems is the CCTV system provider. 36 vehicles have tracking systems installed.
Telematics provided by DE Connect and Quartix.
Telematics for DE Connect and Quartix are not under contract at present.
Zero safety related incidents in five years.
SDDC Operational services do not use contractors for waste collection, Grounds maintenance or street cleansing.
Whitespace will be the chosen provider of waste systems.
We are currently working on introducing Whitespace over the next two years.
