Please can you provide the following information:

1. The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th Aprl 2026.

2. The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th April 2026 specifying Woodville as their preferred choice of location.

3. The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th April 2026 specifying Swadlincote as their preferred choice of location.

4. The average waiting times as at 24th April 2026for the different types of affordable property (1-bed, 2-bed, 4-bed, 4-bed and 5+ bed).

5. Any further information on the need for affordable housing in Woodville.

Social Housing Stock

1. The total number of social housing stock as at 24th April 2026.

2. Whether any of the Council’s social housing stock has been transferred to another organisation (and if so to whom).

1.     The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th April 2026. - 830

2.     The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th April 2026 specifying Woodville as their preferred choice of location. – 5 for Woodvile only, 435 for those that have ticked Woodvile as a desired area (applicants can tick multiple areas)

3.     The total number of households on the Council’s Housing Register as at 24th April 2026 specifying Swadlincote as their preferred choice of location. - 24 for Swadlincote only, 566 for those that have ticked Swadlincote as a desired area (applicants can tick multiple areas)

4.     The average waiting times as at 24th April 2026 for the different types of affordable property (1-bed, 2-bed, 4-bed, 4-bed and 5+ bed). – From the entirety since our Housing Management System went live in 2021:

 

1 bed – 191 Days

2 bed – 187 Days

3 bed – 229 Days

4 bed – 225 Days

5 bed – N/A

 

5.     Any further information on the need for affordable housing in Woodville. – N/A
