Do you have a precise statement published on how the LNRS impacts the planning process? If so, what is it? No.
How does your region's LNRS impact strategic planning i.e. planning policies, SPDs, Local Plans and operations? The Council has been involved in joint working with Derbyshire County Council in preparing the Local Nature Recovery Strategy through a supporting authority's group. The Council is currently preparing to submit its Local Plan Part 1 Review which contains strategic policies, within this Local Plan Policy INF7: Blue and Green Infrastructure part H includes a requirement that development proposals should consider (through the Derbyshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy) any potential opportunities to connect with broader networks, corridors and assets.
